Voltage Regulator: Service and Repair

Preliminary work:  

Generator removed, See: Alternator/Service and Repair 

Bolts (1)

unscrew, screw in.  

Cover (2)

unclip, clip on; press apart retaining locks (3) for this purpose.  

Screws (4)

unscrew, screw in.  

NOTE:  Pay attention to installed position of regulator (5).

Catches (arrows)

press apart and take out regulator (5) to the side, insert from the side.
