Type 1:
NOTE: Type 2 is distinguished by:
-
Modified arrangement of red, 10-pin plug from footrest to panel situated below footrest
-
Modified arrangement of voltage converter from front bulkhead pillar to panel situated below footrest.
Removal:
1. Turn ignition key to position 0, disconnect and insulate negative battery terminal
2. Remove floormat from right side of driver's footwell
3. Remove footrest from bulkhead (arrowed).
