Attached to this Service Information is one copy of W.I. # 262. The Work Instructions describes the repair procedure to eliminate the customer
complaint of "excessive lateral motion on the driver's seat"

Work Instructions
In case of customer complaints regarding "excessive lateral motion on the driver's seat", a plastic slider should be installed on the outside of the seat
frame and one on the inside of the seat rail.
Procedure
1.
Remove driver's seat (job no. 91-100).
2.
Remove left and right seat rails (job no. 91-120).
3.
Mark and drill one 6.1 mm (1/4") dia. and one 3.6 mm (9/64") dia. hole in outer side of seat frame according Figure 1. Tap the 3.6 mm pilot hole
with a 4.0 mm tap. Remove shavings.
Note:
Wear safety goggles and observe all other safety precautions.
