INSTALLATION OF HOSE CLAMPS FOR CURVED HOSE OF IDLE SPEED ADJUSTER MODEL 129.066

Procedure:

1.

Remove cover (1) upward and pull off air ducts (2) (Figure 1).

2.

Pull off crankcase ventilation hose (3) (Figure 1).

3.

Lift air filter and pull away toward front (Figure 1).

As of October 1990 production, 2 hose clamps are installed on the curved hose of the idle speed adjuster.

Pre-October 1990 vehicles should receive the same hose attachment during their next shop visit. At the same time, a white paint dot should be applied to
the right-hand side air duct.
