Fuel Tank Pressure Release Valve: Testing and Inspection

1.

Disconnect the breather valve at the fuel tank side of the valve.

Connect a suitable vacuum-pressure tester to port (B) of the breather valve and apply pressure.

The valve should open at approximately 30-50 mbar (0.435-0.725 psi.).  If not replace the breather valve.

3.

Apply vacuum to the breather valve.
