Removing/Installing Element, Front Passenger Door

Removal and installation of element, front passenger door 

A. 1st version up to approx. 02/83 

Removal 

1.  Remove door lining.   See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair

2.  With closed crank window open dip of element (arrow), remove switching rod.

3.  Unscrew fastening bolts (22) of element. Remove element from door cutout.

4.  Pull connector (3) on element (23).
5.  For installation proceed vice versa.

Adjusting switching rod 

1.  Pull safety pin of door out as far as stop (unlock).
