Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Component Locations

1.

Check for possible stored fault codes.  Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS in TESTING PROCEDURES.

2.

Remove the passenger floor covering.

3.

Remove the passenger floor plate.

CIS-E Control Unit Location

4.

With the ignition switch in the OFF position, disconnect the control unit harness connector.

5.

Remove the control unit mounting screws and remove the control unit.
