Note:

This DTB does not apply to vehicles not equipped with Tele-Aid (N123/4).

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of poor or no signal in the integrated telephone system, follow the below procedure to
resolve.

1)

Check the version coding using SDS by following - Control Units --> Information and communication --> Audio, video, navigation and
Telematics --> TELE-AID --> Control unit adaptations --> Model series, telephone adapter for portable CTEL

2)

Verify that the following are correctly configured, print out screen and retain in repair order file.

a.

203 Wagon - Coded for S203

b.

203 Sedan - Coded for W203

c.

203 Coupe - Coded for C203

d.

209 Cabriolet - Coded for VV203

e.

209 Coupe - Coded for VV203

With the version coding correctly configured, check the vehicle Tele-Aid harness (part no. A203 540 86 33) by proceeding with step 4.

4)

Remove the trunk floor and side covers using the following WIS procedures:

a.

203 Wagon - AR68.30-P-4780PA

b.

203 Sedan - AR68.30-P-4600P

c.

203 Coupe - AR68.30-P-4600PB

d.

209 Cabriolet - AR68.30-P-4600QA

e.

209 Coupe - AR68.30-P-4600PB
