AR82.62-P-7720PA Remove/Install Loudspeaker Amplifier Control Unit

DANGER:
Risk of explosion from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury from caustic burns to eyes
and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Connect quiescent current retention device

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove side trim panel in rear

Unscrew screws (1)

Carefully take out sound amplifier (A2/13)

CAUTION:  Do not kink D2B fiber optic cable

Separate fiber optic cable connector (2) Notes on fiber optic cable

CAUTION:  Do not kink D2B fiber optic cable

NOTE:  Fit fiber optic cable connector and radio connection with caps

Separate sound amplifier connector (3)

Install in the reverse order

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

Stored faults which may be caused by disconnecting cables or by simulation during removal and installation or test operations, must be
processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the operations

Make electrical system operational
