Risk of explosion from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte Injury hazard and danger
of burning skin and eyes when handling battery acid or handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Wear acid protection gloves, clothes and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove AC housing

Unscrew screws (1)

NOTE:  Two screws.

See "Special Tools" given below.

Remove activated charcoal filter flap actuator motor (A32m2) from AC housing (2)

Disconnect connector (3) from activated charcoal filter flap actuator motor (A32m2)

Install in the reverse order

7

Synchronize activated charcoal filter flap actuator motor (A32m2).
