DANGER:

Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove right front axle shaft (60)

Install new radial sealing ring (32)

NOTE:  Coat sealing lip of radial sealing ring with universal hypoid gear oil.

Install in the reverse order

Check front axle gear oil level and top up if necessary

Replace Left Inner Radial Seal At Front Axle Gear

Remove front final-drive unit (50)

Drain and collect hyped gear oil via the intermediate shaft opening

Clamp front final-drive unit (50) to assembly stand

Remove bearing cover (54)

Remove O-ring (54a) from bearing cap (54)
