Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle: Description and Operation

Washer nozzle and washer nozzle hose heater function

The washer nozzle heater (R2/1) and the washer nozzle hose heater (R2/11) are automatically switched on when:

-

Term. 61: ON (motor: ON) and

-

an outside temperature of less than 5 °C is detected.

The system is automatically switched off when:

-

Term. 61: OFF (motor: OFF) or

-

an outside temperature of greater than 8 °C is detected. 

NOTE:  If values are missing or implausible (outside temperature, term. 61 )the heater elements are not actuated!
