Accessory Control Display: Service and Repair

AR82.85-P-7472P Remove/Install Operating, Display and Control Unit

- with CODE (352) COMAND operating and display unit

eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked container

Connect quiescent current retention device

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove cover from center console

Unscrew screws (1)

Remove COMAND operating, display Take out COMAND control unit (A40/3)
