Warning when driver is not wearing seat belt

If the driver does not put on the seat belt after closing the door (left door contact switch S17/3 open) a warning tone from the seat belt warning module
N2/4 sounds for 4-8 seconds after turning on the ignition.

The warning tone is not activated or is turned off if the driver puts on the seat belt and fastens the belt buckle. When the belt buckle is fastened, terminal
1 of the seat belt warning module N2/4 is grounded via the left front seat belt buckle and belt reminder switch S68/1.

Warning when door is open

If the driver opens the door (left door contact switch S17/3 closed) without removing the key from the steering lock, the seat belt warning module N2/4
produces a warning tone.

The warning tone switches off if the key is removed from the ignition (warning buzzer contact (exterior lamps) S8/1 closed) or if the door is closed (left
door contact switch S17/3 open). The warning buzzer contact (exterior lamps) S8/1 is open as long as the key is left in the steering lock. By removing the
key, the contact closes and power is applied through fuse 3, terminal 30 to terminal 2 of the seat belt warning module N2/4.

Warning when lights are on and door open

If the driver opens the door after removing the key from the steering lock and leaves on the high beam, low beam or side lights (left door contact switch
S17/3 closed), the seat belt warning module N2/4 produces a warning tone.

When the lights are switched on, power is supplied to the seat belt warning module N2/4, terminal 3 via the cigar lighter connector R3x1 of the
interior/tail lamp harness connector X18.
