AR77.20-P-2500PB Remove/Install Wind Deflector

Removing And Installing Wind Deflector

Removing

Move sliding/pop-up roof toward rear

Unscrew screw (4) from coupling arm (3)

CAUTION:  Do not remove bolt (1).

Unscrew screws (6) out of front bearing

Move coupling arm (3) toward front

Remove wind deflector (2) toward rear

CAUTION:  Do not damage sealing lip (5).

Installation

Move in wind deflector (2) at front

CAUTION:  Do not damage sealing lip (5).

Hook in coupling arm (3)

Turn in screws (6) at front bearing

NOTE:  Do not tighten completely.

Screw screw into coupling arm (3)

Move wind deflector (2) upward and downward by hand

NOTE:  Until wind deflector (2) is centered

Close sliding/pop-up roof

Check position of wind deflector and correct if necessary

NOTE:  Wind deflector (2) should be flush with sliding/pop-up roof cover at front and on side

Open sliding/pop-up roof

Tighten screws (6) on front bearing

Close sliding/pop-up roof

Check wind deflector (2) position again and correct if necessary
