Pull on lower radiator hose (manually) to determine if it is seated into the lower radiator neck:

Note:

Do not use excessive force or tools when pulling on radiator hose or hose may pull out of radiator neck.

Do not stand directly under radiator neck when pulling on radiator hose.

^

If hose is loose, replace radiator (proceed to step 6).

If hose is properly seated into radiator neck, radiator is OK. Reinstall lower (front) engine compartment panel in reverse order. No further
work required; campaign is complete.

Replace radiator:

For vehicles with engine 112, refer to WIS: AR20.20-P-3865PV.

^

For vehicles with engine 271, refer to WIS: AR20.20-P-3865PK.
