Do not touch present adhesive beads and bonding surfaces (1) with bare fingers. The bonding surfaces (1) and adhesive beads must be free of dust, oil,
grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components, otherwise the adhesive force of the glued connection is impaired.
1. Cut down present glue beads on bonding surfaces (1) to a height of approx. 1 mm to max. 2 mm. Remove adhesive material residues. Remove
remaining pieces not cut off completely from adhesive beads.
Wet/dry vacuum cleaner
2. Repair paint damage on body
3. Apply primer to bonding surfaces (1) where no remaining adhesive is present.
Observe processing instructions for primer to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when gluing in.
