Center Nozzle

Design

The center nozzle provides guidance for specific distribution of the air in the upper front passenger compartment.

Function

The air direction can be adjusted as desired upward, downward, to the left, right at to the middle with separately adjustable louvers in the center nozzles
(2, 7)

The center nozzles (2, 3, 7, 8) can be opened and closed with the adjustment wheels (4, 6)

To open turn the adjustment wheels (4, 6) upward:

Center nozzle closed

-

Pivoting center nozzles (2, 7) are open

-

Pivoting center nozzles (2, 7) and fixed center nozzles (3, 8) are open.

The temperature of the air existing from  the center nozzle (1) can be controlled with the adjustment wheel (5).
To lower the temperature turn adjustment wheel (5) in "blue" direction.

Automatic operation turn adjustment wheel to "A". The indicator lamp (9) above the adjustment wheel (5) comes on. The air quantity and air
temperature for the center nozzle (1) are controlled automatically by the pushbutton control module by the center nozzle electronic circuitry.
