Make sure the printed circuit is not kinked and rests freely on the rubberized fiber mat (Figure 7).

Cover the the sensor assembly with foam pad.

Reinstall seat cushion cover in reverse order - refer to step 2.

14.

Reinstall seat cushion and entire seat into vehicle - refer to step 1.

Check seat heating and electrical adjustment functions.
Check seat occupied sensor indicator light located on center console. It should go oft approx. 3 to 6 sec. after the ignition key is turned to position
1. With Mercedes-Benz authorized BabySmart(TM) compatible child seat properly installed in the front passenger seat, the indicator light will be
illuminated except with ignition key removed or in steering lock position 0.
