- with CODE (359) TELE AID emergency call system
The emergency call system control unit (N123/4) operates with its own microprocessor. Here a distinction is made between the 2 subareas of telephone
module and navigation module. All the data important for a Telematic Alarm Identification on Demand (emergency call system) (TELE AID) emergency
call are processed centrally in the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). With the aid of the installed navigation module, it calculates the vehicle
position and generates the emergency call telegram in the form of an SMS in the event of an emergency call.
The crash data are received from the restraint systems control unit (N2/7) via a serial interface.
The emergency call system control unit (N123/4) can be diagnosed via Controller Area Network (databus/CAN bus) (CAN) diagnosis and the EIS
control unit (N73) using STAR DIAGNOSIS.
