Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair

AR77.20-P-1400Q Remove/Install Control Cable

- with CODE (414a) Electric glass sliding/pop-up roof

DANGER!
Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Remove water drain funnel

Remove sliding roof drive

NOTE:  
Installation: Displace tilting bracket (4) until the edge of lever (6) is matched with tip (7), then install sliding roof drive.

Unscrew screws (1)

Unscrew screw (2)

Remove cover (3)

Push tilting bracket (4) approx. 10 cm toward rear.

Pull out control cable (5) toward rear

Install in the reverse order

Check for proper function
