Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury-i with
caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove instrument panel bracket

Remove suspension

NOTE:  Suspension upstream of actuator motor assembly

Unscrew bolts (1)

NOTE:  Three bolts

Remove left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10)

Detach coupling (3)

Install in the reverse order

Normalize left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10)

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

10

Perform basic programming.
