Remove/install Radial Sealing Ring Of Rear Axle Shaft At Rear Axle Housing

Work Instructions

DANGER:

Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Radial seal ring

NOTE:
-

Pry out radial sealing ring using a suitable tool

-

Installation: Coat the lip of the radial sealing ring with Universal hypoid gear oil. Universal hypoid gear oil.

37.1 Remove/install rear axle shaft.
37.2 Circlip

CAUTION:  Replace circlip.

Rear final-drive unit

NOTE:
-

Installation: Check oil level, correct if necessary.
