Release the pressure in the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety
glasses.

Open trunk lid

Remove paneling in trunk
NOTE: Remove only left side wall paneling.

Disconnect plug (3) from soft top compartment cover limit switch (2).

Unclip safety bolts (4) and pull out

Press foam rubber (5) from soft top compartment cover hydraulic cylinder (1) to side with assembly wedge (6)

Remove bolts (8) from fuse (7).

Pull out bolt (8) and remove soft top compartment cover hydraulic cylinder (1) from bracket (11).

Unclip soft top compartment cover limit switch (2) from soft top compartment cover hydraulic cylinder (1).

Remove locking plate (9) from hydraulic line (10) to soft top compartment cover hydraulic cylinder (1).

Pull hydraulic line (10) out of soft top compartment cover hydraulic cylinder (1).
NOTE: Use plug from brake caliper vent nipple.

Install in reverse order

Check for proper function and leakage
