AR46.10-P-0600-06Q Remove/install height adjustment motor gear mechanism

- with CODE (441) Electrically adjustable Steering column

Jacket tube

Component Identification

Remove

Remove bolts (60a) from gear mechanism (60).

Remove gear mechanism (60), pulling off gear coupling (60e) at the same time.

Install

Install gear mechanism (60), pushing on the gear coupling (60e) at the same time.

Fit bolts (60a) at gear mechanism (60).

Do not tighten bolts (60a) until mounting (87) is installed on jacket tube.

Check alignment of the two holes (arrows) in the pins.

To do this, insert a suitable bolt through the holes and turn the pins to adjust the height if necessary.

The chamfers of the holes (arrows) in the pins must face outwards.
