The system selected by the user is displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) in the instrument cluster (A1). In addition, the fanfare horns (H2) can
be actuated by means of the impact plate of the multifunction steering wheel.

Only the trip computer has a last-mode function. When the user switches to this system, the basic display is not shown; instead, the system displays the
submenu that was last selected.

Left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110)

In system selection button (S110s3) and Scroll forward and backward buttons (S110s1) are included in the left multifunction steering wheel button group
(S110).
Each of the systems can be called up with the system selection button (S110s3). This button is used to scroll forward and backward in the systems.
Use the Scroll forward/back button (S110s1) to call up additional submenus.

Right multifunction steering wheel button group (S111)

The right multifunction steering wheel button group (S111) contains the Accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3) and the button + and -, setting of
specific functions and volume control (S111s1). A telephone call can be accepted or terminated with the Accept/ terminate phone call button (S111s3).
The button + and -, setting of specific functions and volume control (S111s1) is used to adjust the volume of the currently active system.

Steering wheel gear shifter MINUS (S110/1) and steering wheel gear shifter PLUS (S111/1)

With program selection "M" (manual program) at the transmission mode switch (S16/5) the individual gears in the transmission can be shifted directly at
the steering wheel gear shifter MINUS (S110/1) or the steering wheel gear shifter PLUS (S111/1).

With program selection "S" (sport program) or "C" (convenience program) at the transmission mode switch (S16/5), the following functions can be
operated at the left steering wheel gear shifter MINUS (S110/1) or the right steering wheel gear shifter PLUS (S111/1):

Setting the shift range within which the transmission upshifts.

^

Shifting into a gear from which the vehicle can be favorably accelerated or decelerated.

The button settings of the multifunction steering wheel are read in via the local interconnect network (LIN) by the steering column module (N80).

Priorities

If several buttons are actuated simultaneously within the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110) or right multifunction steering wheel
button group (S111), only one function is activated by the instrument cluster (A1). This means that there are different priority ratings for different
functions.
