1. Loosen wiring harnesses (4) in rear area of old headliner (1) and lay down to side
2. Saw off cutting template (2) from old headliner (1).

Laterally cut through old headliner (1) approx. 5 cm in front of PTS warning indicator cutout (3)
Use hacksaw blade.

3. Support new headliner (1) in rear area with suitable spacers, e.g. foam material or styrofoam blocks.

Do not use hard or sharp-edged objects. Otherwise the new headliner (1) cover can be damaged.
Installing spacers prevents the new headliner (1) from sagging and eliminates damage when performing the following steps.

4. Remove installation frame (6) out of cutting template (2)
5. Place cutting template (2) onto new headliner (1) and align.
6. Record cutout for PTS warning indicator (3) onto new headliner (1).
7. Remove cutting template (2) from new headliner (1).
8. Saw cutout for PTS warning indicator (3) out of new headliner (1).

Use hacksaw blade, otherwise headliner (1) can be damaged.
Saw out within the recorded cutting line, otherwise the cutout for the PTS warning indicator (3) is too large.

9. Insert installation frame (6) from below into the new headliner.

Observe installation position: The retaining spring (arrow A) should be located on the right side (in the direction of travel).

10. Bend over left and right side retainer tab (7) on predetermined kink point (arrows B) with suitable pliers.

Bend over carefully, because the installation frame (6) bents easily
