Power Seat Switch: Description and Operation

- with CODE (433) Left dynamic seat including multicontour seat
- with CODE (434) Right dynamic seat including multicontour seat

Component Identification

The left front DYNAMIC switch is located below the left front multicontour backrest switch group (S109) in the front area of the front seat.

Task

The left front DYNAMIC switch is used to transmit the adjustment requests made by the driver to the left front dynamic seat control unit (N32/19).

Function

The switch position is voltage-coded via a resistor and read in by the particular dynamic seat control unit. The switched-on "dynamic lateral support ON"
function is indicated by the illuminated LED.

Each actuation of the left front DYNAMIC switch is confirmed by the indication "dynamic seat adjustment ON" or "dynamic seat adjustment OFF" for t
= 5 s in the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1). Inflation pressure and speed used to fill the side support cushion for driver and
front passenger can be adjusted via the second control level in the instrument cluster.
