Function

Actuation of the fanfare horn system button is read in voltage- coded from the steering column module and forwarded over the CAN-B to the driver-side
SAM control unit.
The driver-side SAM control unit actuates the fanfare horns by way of the fanfare horn relay

The terminal status is sent by the EIS [EZS] control unit to CAN-B.
