Component Identification

Replace self-locking nuts.

Attach propeller shaft to transmission flange.

Long-life grease (NLGI grade 2)

Remove

Component Identification

Detach universal joint (72) from propeller shaft (70).

Remove rubber sleeve (71).

Install

Coat splined profile with Molykote grease (long-life grease).

4

Push rubber sleeve (71) onto propeller shaft (70) with universal joint (72).

Pay attention to markings (arrows) for installation position.

5

Check rubber sleeve (71) is correctly seated.
