Air Register: Description and Operation
Instrument Panel Nozzles
Center Nozzle
The center nozzle provides for specific guidance and distribution of the air in the upper section of the front vehicle passenger compartment.
The center nozzle (1) can be partially opened and closed with the adjustment wheel (2).
The direction of the air can be adjusted as desired upward, downward, to the left, right or to the middle with two separately adjustable louvers (3, 4).
On vehicles equipped with automatic heater (HEAT) fresh air exits from the center nozzle (1), on vehicles with air conditioning (Tempmatic) and
automatic air conditioning (Auto A/C) blended air exits from the center nozzle (1).
