Model 210.020/025/055/065/070/072/074/082/083/265/282 without Xenon Headlamps

Model 211.065/070/076 without Bi-Xenon Headlamps H7 Bulb in Halogen Headlamp(s) Inoperative

If the H7 bulb in the halogen headlamp is inoperative in the above vehicles, check the contact point between the wire terminal and the bulb for signs of
overheating. Increased temperature in this area may be the result of low speed operation and setting the headlamps to constant or use of daytime running
lamps. The increased temperature in the headlamp unit reduces the contact pressure between the wire terminal and the H7 bulb plug. This results in an
increased resistance at the plug which can raise the temperature high enough to damage the plug. To resolve, please perform the following.

1.

Switch lights off and remove ignition key.

2.

Remove housing cover from rear of headlamp.

3.

Remove H7 bulb with socket (Figure 1, A).

4.

Cut off damaged wiring harness approximately 2 - 3 cm. in front of socket.

5.

Install electrical lead (includes bulb socket) with solder connectors (Figure 2, B). Do not wrap repair area with tape!

6.

Install new H7 bulb with mounting clip included with the electrical lead spare part.

7.

Connect plug to H7 bulb and position wiring harness in headlamp housing. Insure that the harness does not contact the reflector, as the heat would
damage the harness.

8.

Reinstall the housing cover on the rear of the headlamp.

9.

Check headlamps for all functions.
