Remote Battery Jumper Terminal: Description and Operation

Due to the installation of the battery under the rear seat, a connector for jump starting is incorporated into terminal block X12/3 in the component
compartment.

Do not use this terminal for charging the battery or jump starting another vehicle, connect directly to the battery.

Note:  Due to the hard brass construction of the jump-start terminal, the jumper cable clamp should be applied firmly and completely to ensure good
contact. Allow the discharged battery approx. 5 minutes, after connecting the jumper cables, to absorb some charge before attempting to start the engine.
The wiring to X12/3 is not designed to carry full starter current load for extended periods of time.
