Always adhere to the specified tightening sequence.
16. Tighten left longitudinal member reinforcement (2) and right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) each with two self-locking bolts M10 x 25 (5)
on longitudinal member with the specified torque.
17. Tighten both microencapsulated bolts M12 x 1.5 x 35 (13) on left and right of trailer hitch crossmember (1) with the specified torque.

Trailer Coupling Mechanics
1. Pull out cable (1) as far as the end stop and insert in the cutout (arrow) of the trailer connection unit control panel (A63/1).
2. Guide control cable (1) into bush (10) from behind.
The cable (1) must seat in the bushing as far as the end stop (10).
