DANGER:

Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform

Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by
the vehicle manufacturer.

Risk of injury from trapping or crushing body parts, risk of injury to skin and eyes due to brake fluid spraying out at high pressure when
working on the SBC brake system

Deactivate SBC brake system using STAR DIAGNOSIS.
CAUTION:

While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surface of all aluminum components do not get any scratches,
cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected

Deactivate SBC brake system using STAR DIAGNOSIS.

Empty rear air springs using STAR DIAGNOSIS

With Airmatic, code (489a)
CAUTION: Installation: Always fill the rear air springs in the KO position otherwise they will be irreparably damaged!

Remove twelve-point nut (12) from rear axle shaft (37)
NOTE: Installation: Replace twelve-point nut, tighten and secure.

Remove rear wheel

Remove brake pads on rear axle
