INSTALLATION OF 8-HOLE WHEEL RIM

In case of customer requests, the original 8-hole wheel rims of models 400 E and 500 E can also be installed on the above mentioned vehicles, with the
following application restrictions:

Failure to follow the instructions listed below may result in the loss of a wheel assembly and/or cause tire damage. This in turn may cause an accident
resulting in serious or fatal injuries.

1.

The 8-hole wheel rim of model 400 E (6.5J x 15 H2 ET44) will fit all previous 124 models (except model 124 Sportline). The original equipment
lug bolts, part number 124 400 04 70, may be used with this wheel rim. Also, only the original equipment tire size was tested and is approved by
MBNA for use with the 8-hole wheel rim.

The 8-hole wheel rim of model 500 E (8J x 16 H2 ET34) will fit all previous 129 models. Only lug bolts, part number 124 400 07 70, are to be
used with this wheel rim.

Do not use the original equipment 15-hole wheel rim lug bolts, part number 126 400 00 70, on the 8-hole wheel rim. when switching back to the
original equipment wheel rim, use the original equipment lug bolts again. Special care must be taken to never mix the 15-hole wheel rim lug bolts
together with the 8-hole wheel rim lug bolts, since they look almost identical but are different. The two sets of lug bolts should be stored separately
and labeled accordingly. Also, only the original equipment tire size was tested and is approved by MBAG for use with the 8-hole wheel rim.

The 8-hole wheel rim of the MY 1993 model 201 Sportline (7J x 15 H2 ET41) will fit the MY 1992 model 201 Sportline, the MY 1986/87 model
201.034 (190 E 2.3-16) and the model 124 Sportline. The original equipment lug bolts, part number 124 400 04 70 are to be used with this wheel
rim.

These wheel rims do not supersede the original type wheel rim and should only be offered to the customer as an accessory item.
