Blind Spot Assist Inoperative After Replacement of Outside Mirror or Disconnection of Line to Outside Mirror

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of "Blind spot assist inoperative" displayed in the instrument cluster, after the triangular
LED in the outside mirror glass was disconnected, this may be caused by a corresponding fault code stored in the radar sensor control module (SGR).
The associated fault codes (755100 or 755200) in the corresponding door control unit for a detected LED display are not shown in the diagnosis and
therefore cannot be deleted.

To resolve, the red LED display in the outside mirror glass has to be actuated manually (only once) through the diagnosis in the door control unit.
