Scuff Plate: Removal and Replacement

AZ82.20-P-0001-01EW Install Illuminated Door Sill

The installation of illuminated door sill molding (5) on the right side is shown in the picture. The installation on the left side takes place as with the
installation on the right side.

Connect black 2-pin coupling (11) of wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) with black 2-pin connector (25) of illuminated door sill
molding (5).

Wrap round connector with felt tape and fix in place on longitudinal member.

Align illuminated door sill molding (5) and clip in place.

When installing the illuminated door sill molding (5) ensure that no cables are pinched or crushed. This could cause a short circuit in the low
current and/or high current circuit.

Clean door sills on vehicle.

The bonding area must be absolutely free from dust and grease in order to avoid adhesion problems.

Remove red carrier film on back of front door sill faceplate (6).

Observe installation note on the back of the front door sill faceplate (6) ("Inside" and "Outside").

Align front door sill faceplate (6) with existing door sill and glue on.
