TASK
LIM display: advises the driver that the VSL is active (LIM display comes on). Speed display: advises the driver of the speed limit which is set.
DESIGN/FUNCTION
If system is switched over to trip counter on instrument cluster, the trip counter reading is retained until the speed limit is altered by setting or
overshooting. If speed limit overshoots, the display of the speed limit begins to flash. There is a twin use with the maintenance interval display
although the VSL has a higher priority.
POSITION
The LIM display is positioned in the middle of the speedometer. If the variable speed limiter is active, the set speed limit is displayed in place of
the trip counter.
