Pump: Service and Repair
Removing And Installing Pneumatic Pump For Dynamic Seat Control

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove left side Inner paneling of load compartment

Remove hazard warning triangle (1)

Loosen sound-deadening material (2) in the lower area and fold upwards
NOTE: Installation: Pay attention to correct seating of sound-deadening material (2).

Remove pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control (M40/1) with the sound-deadening materials (3) upwards out of the bracket (4)

Remove sound-deadening materials (3) from the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control (M40/1)
7
Detach pneumatic connections (5) from the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control (M40/1)
8
Disconnect electrical connector (6) and remove the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control (M40/1) from the load compartment
9
Install in the reverse order
