Front Bumper: Procedures

AZ88.00-P-0001-02CA Converting Front Bumper

Check components removed from standard bumper before assembly and replace if damaged.

Pay attention to paint damage.

Vehicles with headlamp cleaning system, code 600

1. Install cover (16) with HCS [SRA] spring (18) on right and left in front paneling.

For purpose pull bearing bracket on HCS [SRA] cover (16) apart and insert into bearing holes in HCS [SRA] frame (17). Then close HCS [SRA]
cover (16) and insert HCS [SRA] spring (18).

Vehicles with Parktronic system (PTS) code 220

2. Route PTS wiring harness (19) with connected PARKTRONIC distance sensors into front paneling (1) and fix in place at specified attachment

points.

3. Clip outer left front, center left front, inner left front, inner right front, center right front (B8/5) and outer right front (B8/6) PARKTRONIC

distance sensors into brackets on front paneling (1).

Previously check whether a decoupling ring (transparent silicon ring) is installed on the PARKTRONIC distance sensors.

4. Fasten electrical connector on PARKTRONIC front bumper (X26/27) to right basic carrier (2).

4. Insert center air inlet grate (8) into front paneling (1) and arrest.

The center air inlet grate (8) should arrest properly in the front paneling (1).
