Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

AR77.20-P-3010T Remove/Install Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Motor

- with CODE (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof

DANGER:

Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding
roof.

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Close sliding/pop-up roof

Remove overhead control panel control module

Remove front roof paneling  

4

Unscrew screws (1) from sliding/pop-up roof drive unit (M 12)

Screw on sliding roof drive Torx: 4 N.m

Remove sliding/pop-up roof drive unit (M12)

Install in the reverse order

Perform teach-in procedure for sliding roof obstruction sensor
