Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair

AR40.15-P-0100T Remove/Install Tire Pressure Monitoring System Control unit

- with CODE (475) Tire pressure monitor (Beru)
- with CODE (475) Tire pressure monitor (Siemens)

Read out variant coding of TPM [RDK] control module (N88)

NOTE:
-

To do this connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and transfer data of TPM [RDK] control module (N88) to STAR DIAGNOSIS.

-

Installation:  Transfer stored data to new TPM [RDK] control module (N88).

Remove left side paneling in trunk

Unscrew bolt (1), lift mounting bracket (2) slightly and swivel to the side

Unscrew screws (3) and remove TPM [RDK] control module (N88) from mounting bracket (2)

Unlock electrical connector (4) and detach from TPM [RDK] control module (N88)

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory and erase if necessary.

Activate the tire pressure monitoring system.
