AR67.10-P-1503-01TS Install Windshield

- with CODE (Z04) Light armoring

Install windshield (1) within 10 minutes after applying adhesive material, otherwise adhesive force of glue starts to decrease. The windshield (1) must be
installed at an acute angle to the A-pillars, otherwise the installation operation will be unnecessarily difficult and the danger exists of the windshield (1)
hitting against the body flange and being damaged. The vehicle doors should not be closed during the curing time of the glue. When a vehicle door is
closed, the vibration to the body can change the installation position of the windshield (1). The curing time of the adhesive material is approx. 2 h,
measured from the time the adhesive material is applied.

Use suction lifting device and cup suction tool for installing and removing windshield (1).
Aid of a helper is also required.

1. Remove protective foil from apex seal on windshield (1).
2. Center windshield (1) above body opening, with aid of helper, and carefully lower bottom edge onto body flange.
3. Carefully lower windshield (1) onto complete body flange and align with adhesive strips (arrow) and fasten with additional adhesive strips.
4. Remove suction lifting device and cup suction tools from windshield (1).

5. Install cup suction tool (2) in lower area of windshield (1).

Cup suction tools (2) serve as mount for sandbags (3).

6. Position sandbags (3) in lower area of windshield (1).

Sandbags (3) serve as load for the windshield (1) in the lower area.
