^ Remove front section of upper engine cover Connect one end of fuel drain hose (special tool) to fuel rail (arrow, Figure 2) and the other end to
approved fuel extraction tank.

Approved fuel extraction equipment can be obtained through the Mercedes-Benz Standard Service Equipment Program (SSEP).
