License Plate Lamp Inoperative
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the license plate bulb is inoperative, please check the bulb for the following.
Cause 1: Bulb is discolored (seal is leaking).
Remedy 1: Replace bulb. Refer to EPCnet for applicable part number.
Cause 2: Beads on filament. (Then an over voltage condition exists, where there is more than 14.0 V after engine start and daytime running lights
activated).
Remedy 2: Eliminate the over voltage condition and then replace the bulb. Refer to EPCnet for applicable part number.
