The left front rpm sensor (L6/1) and the right front rpm sensor (L6/2) record the wheel speeds at the front wheels. The signals of the rpm sensor are read
in by the ESP control unit (N47-5) and sent over the engine compartment CAN to the instrument cluster (A1).

The instrument cluster uses the rpm sensor signals to generate a vehicle speed signal which is then sent over the interior CAN to the reversing camera
control unit.

Activate outside mirror camera function sequence

If the passenger-side outside mirror reversing camera (B84/6) function is selected via the corresponding softkey on the COMAND operating, display and
controller unit, the camera images from the passenger-side outside mirror reversing camera are displayed on the COMAND operating, display and
controller unit by means of CVBS signals transferred via the reversing camera control unit.

In addition, the reversing camera control unit calculates guide lines based on the steering angle and the stored vehicle parameters. These are also
integrated in the received camera images by the reversing camera control unit and transferred to the COMAND operating, display and controller unit as a
CVBS signal.
