Essentially, the following actions are possible:

Display of all work to be performed for this service: A list is compiled of all the operations to be performed during this service date.

Configuration of maintenance item: The maintenance items can be configured, by activating or deactivating them. Here, the corresponding
weighting of all the other data for the item, e.g. maintenance intervals, exceeding limit, weighting) must be assigned with plausible values in the
maintenance item by STAR DIAGNOSIS.

Confirmation of services performed: An identifier is flagged for the corresponding maintenance items indicating that this service has been
performed.

Revocation of an erroneous confirmation of maintenance items: It is possible to reset a maintenance item (maintenance confirmed) once within a
service period.

Service memory read out: this provides information on maintenance already performed.

If the central gateway control unit is to be replaced, all the relevant data are backed up by STAR DIAGNOSIS and transferred to the new central
gateway control unit.

Depending on the demands made on the vehicle, the note "Service memory full' appears in the multifunction display (A1p13).

This means that no further data can be processed by the central gateway control unit (N93).

The note can be deleted again after 47 entries using the control panel on the multifunction steering wheel (MFL). No further erasing can be carried out
after 49 entries.

If the service memory is not read out, the corresponding data are not processed further. A correct calculation and display are not possible.

Reading out the service memory

The service memory can be read out using STAR DIAGNOSIS.

Select control unit adaptation;

Start the function "Rearrange service memory".
