The displays and menu displays for the COMAND are generated by the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
The following applications are also displayed in the instrument cluster (A1) at the same time as being displayed in the Audio/ COMAND display:

The COMAND control unit acts as a gateway. It routes the signals from the interior CAN (CAN B) to the components on the telematics CAN (CAN A)
and on the Media Oriented System Transport (MOST).

COMAND, general

The COMAND control unit (A40/3) is the central control for the entertainment and communication systems integrated into the vehicle.
