- with CODE (523) MB Audio 20 radio
- with CODE (510) Audio 20 CD changer

Wrap felt tape (1) around Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna wiring harness of GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).

Affix the Velcro tape (2) included in the scope of supply to the top of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).

The top of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) can be recognized by the lettering "TOP" or by the spacer (arrow). The area of the GPS antenna
(retrofit) (A2/23) to which the tape is going to be affixed must be free of dust and grease.

Remove protective film from velcro strip of GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) and affix GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) in installation opening of
Audio/COMAND display.

Position GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) in rear left corner of Audio/COMAND display installation opening. This avoids any adverse effect on the
dismantling/installation of the Audio/COMAND display.

Route the GPS antenna wiring harness (3) along the vehicle's own lines and into the right-hand footwell, and secure in place with felt tape.

Route GPS antenna wiring harness (3) behind air duct (4) and condensation water drain hose (6) of air conditioner housing.

Secure GPS antenna wiring harness (3) to the Universal Media Interface adapter line (9), the head unit low voltage differential signaling wiring
harness (LVDS) (7) and the LVDS display wiring harness (8) with cable ties (5).
